Intro

Hello everyone,

Who am I?
I am a OSU senior major in physical education and have been involved with Greek Life since my freshman year. Throughout my involvement with Greek Life I have held different positions within my chapter and governing council ranging from secretary to President. The only time that I have been President is for the Multi-Cultural Greek Council which was last year.

Why am I in my Fraternity/Sorority?
The reason that I am in my fraternity is to retain my cultural heritage since I am a out-of-state student. I had culture shock when I got here because I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and Latinos are the majority there. I have always been a person open to new experiences, but I needed something to ground me before I branched out. I feel like my fraternity grounded me by giving sense of home away from home.


How do I feel after reading this Blogabus in its entirely?
I enjoyed reading the "Blogabus", but I just hope that we get a paper copy. I find the blogabus to be creative and useful for today's students. As I mentioned earlier I have been involved with Greek Life for quite some time now and generally I am a optimist, but I have seen the positives and negatives that come with a leadership role in Greek Life. I welcome the challenge of of changing the culture of Greek Life at OSU and look forward to working with everyone who wants to do the same.
